Explore Buxa-Dooars:
Hidden deep within the emerald folds of Buxa Duars, North Bengal, Lepchakha Village stands like a timeless crown — rightly known as the “Queen of Dooars.” Perched on a hilltop close to the Bhutan border, this serene hamlet offers a spellbinding panorama of the Dooars plains, where twelve rivers shimmer like silver serpents, winding gracefully through lush forests and valleys.
Lepchakha is home to the Drukpa community, the original inhabitants of this land. With their unique Bhutanese roots, rich traditions, warm hospitality, and distinct architectural style, the village offers an experience far removed from the bustle of modern life. Sparse population, mist-covered mornings, and an unbroken silence make Lepchakha a sanctuary for those seeking peace and authenticity.
The journey itself is an adventure — trekking through dense alpine forests, crossing untouched trails, and gradually revealing breathtaking views of Buxa National Park. From bird and butterfly watching to nights under star-lit skies around a campfire, every moment here reconnects you with nature in its purest form.
This Summer Camp 2026 is not just a trip — it’s an escape into solitude, wilderness, and culture. Ideal for adventurers, trekkers, and nature lovers, Lepchakha promises memories carved in mist, mountains, and moments of stillness.
